About the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation aims to empower outstanding doctoral researchers to become Engaged Leaders who have meaningful impact in their communities and institutions. The PETF fosters the development of Engaged Leadership skills through a three-year program centered on experiential learning and curriculum taught by Fellows and Mentors. Its leadership program proposes a path to community engagement by exposing Scholars to challenging debates, and a diversity of perspectives, and by moving outside of traditional university settings through engagement with self, others, systems, and the environment.
