Malaika Marable Serrano is the VP for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) at Guild, a career opportunity platform, where she leads the integration of DEIB principles and best practices across the company, to empower a workforce that thrives on inclusivity and belonging.
Over the past 20 years, Dr. Serrano has served in a number of leadership and faculty roles in academic and non-profit spaces. She finds joy in volunteering with women's leadership groups, delivering high-impact keynotes to HR & DEI leaders, and has authored numerous articles and book chapters. Multiple awards include a Fulbright Fellowship to Germany and Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Serrano’s educational background includes a B.A. from the University of Southern California, a M.A. from the University of Maryland, a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, and Ph.D. from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
