Fulbright Canada Fall Orientation

Orientation is an annual event that brings new U.S. Fulbrighters in Canada and new Killam Fellows together for a program of professional and personal development. The new scholars and students are provided with the opportunity to participate in a specific program of academic, cultural and professional activities, spend time in the nation’s capital, and meet other Fulbrighters, Killam Fellows, Fulbright Canada staff members, Board members, U.S. government officials, and Canadian Government officials.

This two-day event begins on Friday morning with registration and ends on Saturday night in a true Canadian fashion at the Carleton University Ice House, where participants are invited to skate, play and/or spectate a friendly game of ice hockey.

Orientation is a critical element in the overall exchange experience, and enjoys the support of the United States Department of State, the Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development Canada, and an endowment from the American Killam Trusts.
