Fulbright 80th Anniversary Reception

On June 15, Fulbright Canada welcomed alumni, partners, staff, and colleagues in public diplomacy to the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Ottawa to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Fulbright Program.

For eight decades, Fulbright has strengthened one of the world’s closest bilateral relationships by fostering academic exchange, mutual understanding, and lasting connections between Canadians and Americans. Events like this remind us that the Canada–U.S. relationship is built not only through institutions, but through people.
