Laura Stipic is the Public Affairs Officer and Diversity Lead at Fulbright Canada. Laura supports the public affairs and communications team by serving as a key point of contact for grantees, alums, and partners while simultaneously taking the lead role in ensuring that the Foundation’s policies and practices on equity, diversity, and inclusion are fully realized.
Laura hopes to inspire others to continually explore and discover the world, allowing them to witness firsthand the immense value of cultural exchange and cross-cultural understanding. In this role, she encourages each individual to grow and develop a global mindset while actively advancing mutual understanding utilizing an equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility lens.
Originally from Northern California, Laura holds a Master of Arts in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California Irvine.
