The Glenn Gould Foundation presented the 11th biennial Glenn Gould Prize to composer Philip Glass at a memorable ceremony and concert on November 26, 2016, at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The inaugural meeting of the North American Climate Policy Forum was held on June 22-23, 2016 at the University of Ottawa. The Forum involves a partnership between the University of Ottawa’s Institute of the Environment, Sustainable Prosperity, the Duke University Energy Initiative, and the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke.

Marking its second growing season in Estevan, the community garden hosted a partnership announcement on Monday. The message was growth.
The event launched the partnership between the local gardeners and the University of Regina. It’s a partnership that’s part of the Fulbright Canada-RBC Eco-Leadership Program, and through that program, the community garden has received $4,000 in grant funding.
Bright Lights in the Lab takes place at University of Toronto Schools, from July 6-17. More than 60 high school students ranging from Grade 7 through 12 will work with teachers, PhD's and graduate students from U of T to perform science experiments on behavior, learning and memory.

The University of Hawai`i at Manoa, in partnership with Fulbright Canada, has announced the establishment of the state’s first Fulbright Canada Visiting Research Chair. To be housed in the College of Social Sciences (CSS) under a five-year arrangement beginning Fall 2016, the program will support regional cooperation on issues including energy and the environment, Asia-Pacific engagement, indigenous issues, ICT, health disparities, policy and migration.
