September 30th is Orange Shirt Day, an Indigenous-led day to honour the victims of residential schools in Canada. It is also the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a new federal holiday and day of remembrance.
Fulbrighter Tony Penikett was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada “for his contributions as a teacher, negotiator and public servant, and for his human rights activism.”
Due to overwhelming interest and enthusiasm we have decided to extend the deadline for the Post-COVID challenge and expand the scope of the program.

The Fulbright Canada - U.S. Embassy in Ottawa Community Leadership Program provides grants, on a competitive basis, to Canadian alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to complete community outreach projects in Canada.
The Fulbright Arctic Initiative brings together a network of applied researchers from the U.S. , Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia and Sweden for three seminar meetings and an exchange.
